DESCRIPTION:RSVP\nFriday Activities\n6pm-9pm\n\nPrayer Session\nSinging\nWorkshop Sessions\nRefreshments\n\nAbout our Guest Speaker\nLicensed therapist and author\, Kevin Bethea is a former 2nd generation Pentecostal preacher; he was converted in the late 1980’s and retrained by the school of external studies\, SIBI and the leadership of the church of Christ in Glen Bernie\, and recently received a honorary masters degree from the University of Bible in Baltimore. He became an assistant minister under the tutelage of Bro. Elmer Sembly Jr. at the Metropolitan church of Christ in 1992. During this time he gained a reputation for strong biblical teaching and evangelistic ability. With a vision to plant a new work in Baltimore\, a small group of around 35 members in December of 1995 has become the East Baltimore church of Christ\, healthy congregation of 375 plus members\, where he currently ministers. He is also a certified Sunset Satellite school administrator of the Northeast Baltimore Bible Institute & College\, (using the Sunset curriculum). \nHe has preached Gospel Meetings and held workshops in Georgia\, New York\, Pennsylvania\, Massachusetts\, Texas\, North Carolina\, Washington State\, South Carolina\, Georgia\, Virginia and DC areas. He was a speaker in the Mid-Atlantic\, Southeast\, National and Mid-Atlantic Lectureship\, Mid-Atlantic marriage retreat and seminar. We have planted two works in the Baltimore area (the recent is the Southside church with Richard Brent a Sunset graduate as the evangelist) and have developed a modern evangelistic ministry called “Ninety minutes and in” or “High Impact Evangelism” which is responsible for hundreds of baptisms in the last 24 months. For a total of 9 years he hosted a live call in radio program entitled “Search the Scriptures” which was instrumental in increasing the kingdom of God in the Baltimore metropolitan area. This live call in program paved the way for others to begin to challenge the charismatic movement and return back to the Lord’s church. \nWith his friend and companion of 27 years\, along with their 4 children Erica\, Eric\, Eian and Erin. The Lord is using me to plant faithful congregations in the Baltimore metropolitan area and with project Northeast. However\, he humbly gives God all the glory and honor for using His earthen vessel. To God be the glory for the great things He has done. \n  \nAbout our Guest Song Leader\nBrother Kenneth Williams was born and raised in Rochester\,Ny. He became added to the lords church at the age of nine as a member of the Northside church of Christ . \nHe began leading songs  at the age of thirteen during Sunday evening worship service and at the age of nineteen became the head song leader for the Northside congregation. During that time he took lessons and was trained at the hochstein school of music where he was vocally trained learning notes\, pitch\, and stage presence .\nIn his adult life he has served as choir director for 15 years \, traveled the country as a member of the sons of harmony gospel group\,  next as a solo artist and worship leader he began traveling helping churches to raise there level of singing while raising funds for the Northside Christian Academy elementary school. He started the SLOTT ministry (song leaders of today & tomorrow) training young men as song leaders for the body of Christ. \nHe travels as a solo artist and worship leader helping congregations whenever he can while also conducting gospel meetings\, anniversaries and lectureships all over the country! \nNow he will beginning the new phase of his ministry as a promoter of church of Christ gospel singers and groups doing fundraisers\, gospel concerts.

To God be the glory for the great things He has done. \n  \nAbout our Guest Song Leader\nBrother Kenneth Williams was born and raised in Rochester\,Ny. He became added to the lords church at the age of nine as a member of the Northside church of Christ . \nHe began leading songs  at the age of thirteen during Sunday evening worship service and at the age of nineteen became the head song leader for the Northside congregation. During that time he took lessons and was trained at the hochstein school of music where he was vocally trained learning notes\, pitch\, and stage presence .\nIn his adult life he has served as choir director for 15 years \, traveled the country as a member of the sons of harmony gospel group\,  next as a solo artist and worship leader he began traveling helping churches to raise there level of singing while raising funds for the Northside Christian Academy elementary school. He started the SLOTT ministry (song leaders of today & tomorrow) training young men as song leaders for the body of Christ. \nHe travels as a solo artist and worship leader helping congregations whenever he can while also conducting gospel meetings\, anniversaries and lectureships all over the country! \nNow he will beginning the new phase of his ministry as a promoter of church of Christ gospel singers and groups doing fundraisers\, gospel concerts.

He became an assistant minister under the tutelage of Bro. Elmer Sembly Jr. at the Metropolitan church of Christ in 1992. During this time he gained a reputation for strong biblical teaching and evangelistic ability. With a vision to plant a new work in Baltimore\, a small group of around 35 members in December of 1995 has become the East Baltimore church of Christ\, healthy congregation of 375 plus members\, where he currently ministers. He is also a certified Sunset Satellite school administrator of the Northeast Baltimore Bible Institute & College\, (using the Sunset curriculum). \nHe has preached Gospel Meetings and held workshops in Georgia\, New York\, Pennsylvania\, Massachusetts\, Texas\, North Carolina\, Washington State\, South Carolina\, Georgia\, Virginia and DC areas. He was a speaker in the Mid-Atlantic\, Southeast\, National and Mid-Atlantic Lectureship\, Mid-Atlantic marriage retreat and seminar. We have planted two works in the Baltimore area (the recent is the Southside church with Richard Brent a Sunset graduate as the evangelist) and have developed a modern evangelistic ministry called “Ninety minutes and in” or “High Impact Evangelism” which is responsible for hundreds of baptisms in the last 24 months. For a total of 9 years he hosted a live call in radio program entitled “Search the Scriptures” which was instrumental in increasing the kingdom of God in the Baltimore metropolitan area. This live call in program paved the way for others to begin to challenge the charismatic movement and return back to the Lord’s church. \nWith his friend and companion of 27 years\, along with their 4 children Erica\, Eric\, Eian and Erin.
